This Compact IR Remote operates with a carrier frequency of 38KHz which makes it compatible with our TSOP 38238 IR Receiver IC.
It is commonly used in home automation projects or other remote-controlled projects in which a microcontroller like Arduino has to perform different actions based on the button pressed on the remote.
The remote also comes without coin cell battery.
To prevent self-discharge the battery would have been isolated from terminals with a plastic sheet, please remove this sheet before you start using the remote.
